This guide provides a step-by-step process on creating a Time Charter (TC) in ownership for a vessel.
Start by navigating to the chartering section and selecting time charters.
Step 1: The TC in tab displays a list of TC in vessels. Locate the + TC in / out option at the top right corner.
Step 2: Select Time charter in.
Step 3: Choose a vessel from the created list.
Step 5: Select the owner.
Step 6: Choose the beneficiary.
Step 7: Add the laycan duration.
Adding Additional Details
Step 1: Input the CP date.
Step 2: Identify the company associated with this agreement.
Step 3: Specify the trade area
Step 4: Add department.
Step 5: Add the ballast bonus.
Step 6: Set the contract type.
Step 7: Determine the status of this ownership and the billing schedule.
Step 8: Set up the billing period.
Step 9: Add a reference contract, if any, and specify the minimum duration for the earliest redelivery. Set both the minimum and maximum. The earliest and latest redelivery will be calculated based on the estimated time input here.
Step 10: Add the delivery port.
Step 11: Include the redelivery port.
Step 12: Add an estimated date for the redelivery time.
Pricing Table
Step 1: Move to the pricing table, add hire rate, rate type and hire duration
Step 5: Select the broker from your contact and add the broker rate, type and payment method.
Step 8: Add a description.
Step 9: Set the rate type and rate.
Finally, after filling all the necessary details, save the information.
Once the ownership is created, it's possible to view the details of the TC and ownership. The more button at the top right corner provides access to higher statements generated for this voyage.
