This guide outlines the process of creating a new vessel in the system.
Step 1: Navigate to the Chartering option in the main menu.
Step 2: Select Vessels.
Step 3: Select the Create vessel option in the top right corner.
Basic Vessel Details
Step 1: Fill out the basic details on the vessel creation page.
- Input the vessel name.
- Choose the vessel type.
- Select the subtype.
- Input the date of built.
- Provide the ID number.
- Enter the IMO number and vessel code.
Vessel Dimension Details
Step 1: Fill out the basic dimension details.
Other Vessel Details
Step 1: Fill out the other details section.
- Choose the ownership type. Select own vessel if your company fully owns the vessel or time charter if it is time chartered. Then, enter the daily cost, choose the plus society and enter the trade area.
In the Port Consumption Table
Fill out the speed for consumption table.
- Input the fuel consumption in metric transporting for different fuel types.
Speed Consumption Table
Fill out the speed consumption table at the bottom.
- Enter the vessel speed. Input the blast, enter the layer into the fuel room, and consume.
Step 2: After filling in all the necessary information, select save. The created vessel should now be listed on this page.
Viewing Vessel Details
Step 1: View the vessel details page.
- Check the overview tab which includes the vessel tracking, a map, vessel tracking details, the vessel learnings, and the summary along with the port height menu.
- In the vessel specs tab, view all the entered details.
The Ownership tab type will be covered in another video. Adding ownership is necessary for any vessel creation. Check to create ownership.
- In the Voyage tab, view any linked contracts or voyages.
- Finally, view the cash flow tab and the finance tab.
